Hey Javier,
welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

The http://www.123ppt.com/video-backgrounds-studio/ - 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio for PowerPoint is compatible with every version of Microsoft Windows from Windows XP, Vista 32-bit and 64-bit and Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio is also compatible with every version of Microsoft PowerPoint including PowerPoint 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and the latest PowerPoint 2010.

However, the latest version of PowerPoint 2010 has been released in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio is fully compatible with PowerPoint 2010 32-bit, but there are known compatibility issues running the 64-bit version of PowerPoint 2010. This is why by default when installing the 64-bit version of PowerPoint 2010 Microsoft's own installer sets the 32-bit version of PowerPoint 2010 as the default. You actually have to physically change the installer settings to install the 64-bit version of Office 2010.

You may ask why would Microsoft release a 64-bit version of Microsoft Office 2010 but set the default installation of the 64-bit package to 32-bit?

Well this is because the 64-bit version of Office 2010 is not compatible with over 99% of additional Office software, including PowerPoint add-ins. Because the 64-bit version of Office 2010 is not entirely stable and offers no performance benefits at all over the 32-bit version of Office 2010 other than allowing you to work with larger Excel files, (there is no performance difference between PowerPoint 2010 32-bit and 64-bit) Microsoft realized that as a user of Office you will have a worse experience using the 64-bit version than the 32-bit version since any additional software packages you have purchased to work with Office with not function under the 64-bit version.

Sounds crazy?

Well...in essence Javier, it is. The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio runs perfectly under Windows 7 64-bit running Office PowerPoint 32-bit. But run Office in 64-bit mode and like every other Office enhancement application, it is disabled.

Our advice is simple Javier, unless you need to work with Excel documents that are greater than 2Gb in file size then there is no value or point in installing the 64-bit version of Office 2010. Simply uninstall Office and reinstall using the default 32-bit setting recommended by Microsoft. You'll find that all your Office applications will now run and operate correctly and your 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio application is also running normally.
