I have been trying to download a movie from YouTube but the quality of the movie is so poor that I do not want to use it in my presentation.

How can I get a better version of this movie?

I want a better quality version with better sound quality.

Thank you

Hi urtesenteret!
Welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

The http://www.123ppt.com/video-backgrounds-studio/ - 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio allows you to add video backgrounds in PowerPoint and play video backgrounds on PowerPoint slides.

In addition to this functionality, the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio also allows you to download, import and add YouTube movies onto your PowerPoint slides, or to import YouTube movies as video backgrounds in PowerPoint.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio allows you to locate all available screen resolutions of any uploaded YouTube movie and select and download the size which best suits your presentation.

If a YouTube user has uploaded a HD movie then the movie is usually available in many different screen resolutions such as 480x360, 640x360, 1280x720 etc.

You cannot improve, re-render or increase the quality of any uploaded YouTube movie as you do not own the original source of the movie and the user who owns the movie and uploaded the file.

I can see form the URL that you provided urtesenteret that the user uploaded a really old low resolution movie which is only available in 400x200 screen resolution. If the user had uploaded a higher resolution file then of course you would be able to access higher screen versions of the file.

It may be worth the effort to attempt to search for any of potential similar uploads on YouTube itself, however as the user chooses a title for the uploaded movie and selects keywords it is not always guaranteed that you will be able to find the same movie in a higher resolution urtesenteret.

In that sense, it may be worth contacting the owner of the movie and asking if they have a version of the movie in a higher resolution that you could use as the version uploaded to YouTube is of very low quality.
