Hello 123PPT.com and users,

Wonder if it is me or if there is a problem. I can't seem to view any video backgrounds on my machine?

When I roll over your PowerPoint video background thumbnails nothing is happening. Is it supposed to play or launch a larger version of the video background?

I'm really interested in using video backgrounds in PowerPoint I don't want to purchase them before I can at least see a preview.

Can anyone assist?

Sincerely,
Phil

It's not PowerPoint that hurts people it's presenters who can't use it

Hi Phil,
welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

From your description it would appear as though your browser is not running Adobe Flash and the Shockwave Flash browser plug in.

Adobe Flash has been a standard in web site development for many years now mainly due to its ability to be able to play film and animation at compressed file sizes without compromising frame rates.

In our http://www.123ppt.com/animated-powerpoint-backgrounds/ - PowerPoint Video Backgrounds section including our http://www.123ppt.com/free/powerpoint-video-backgrounds/ - Free PowerPoint Video Backgrounds section, whenever you roll your mouse pointer over a thumbnail a low resolution preview of the video background begins to play.

The low resolution preview plays as a Flash (.swf) file but if your browser does not have the Flash plug in installed or if you have disabled the Shockwave Flash plug in in your browser settings then no video will play and you will not be able to see the video background previews.

Check that your browser has Flash installed Phil by going to the Adobe website and if it is installed but disabled re-enable it in your browser settings. Once enabled you will be able to see low resolution previews of all our video backgrounds from all our video background collections play as they will in your PowerPoint presentations.
