I'm getting increasing frustrated trying to use one of the free video backgrounds I downloaded for powerpoint. Seems no matter what I do I can't get it to play behind my text on any of my slides.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a specific way you have to insert a video backgrounds in powerpoint?

Hi Martin, welcome to the PowerPoint Forum.

It might seem an obvious question, but have you have downloaded and licensed a copy of the http://www.123ppt.com/video-backgrounds-studio/ - 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio ?

Charles - thanks for your quick reply.

No. I have not downloaded the application because I do not need it. I just want to be able to insert and play a video background in my powerpoint presentation.

Hi Martin,

PowerPoint does not allow you to either insert a video background or play a video background in PowerPoint behind your text and other slide objects.

PowerPoint only allows you to insert an image such as a http://www.123ppt.com/powerpoint-backgrounds/ - PowerPoint Background or assign a solid color or gradient color or text as a background.

Because of this we developed the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio. The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio lets presenters and users of PowerPoint insert video backgrounds in PowerPoint and http://www.123ppt.com/animated-powerpoint-backgrounds/ - play video backgrounds in PowerPoint behind text and other slide objects.

Without the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio you cannot insert or play a video background in PowerPoint, and instead if you attempt to insert a video background it will play in front of your slide text not behind it.

The only way to insert and play video backgrounds in PowerPoint is by using the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.

Hope this helps.
