Hi, I have been reading through the specifications of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Deluxe Edition and i see it is possible to import YouTube in PowerPoint with sound. Is it possible to import other videos like Quicktime into PowerPoint with sound?

Hey Martine, welcome to the 123PPT Community and the PowerPoint Forum,

The http://www.123ppt.com/video-backgrounds-studio/123PPT-Video-Backgrounds-Studio-DeluxeEdition.pdf - 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Deluxe Edition lets you import video files, movies, clips and loops without limitation into PowerPoint for use as video backgrounds in your presentations. In fact, it is the only PowerPoint add-in application that allows you to do so.

In addition to video file formats such as .WMV, .MPG, .AVI and Quicktime .MOV, the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Deluxe Edition also allows you to connect directly to YouTube and download any and all available screen resolutions of any YouTube clip and import YouTube in PowerPoint directly for use as video backgrounds in your presentations.

The YouTube function of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Deluxe Edition also has another special feature to allow you to import YouTube in PowerPoint with sound. Or more precisely, import the YouTube movie with its soundtrack directly into PowerPoint to play on any slide as a full screen film in your PowerPoint presentations.

So you can infact have YouTube video backgrounds and YouTube films in your PowerPoint presentations!

Importing normal video file formats such as .WMV, .MPG and  Quicktime .MOV does not have the sound import option Martine, because video backgrounds playing in your presentation with sound tracks could lead to some very unwanted results. For example, imagine you wanted to use a video background such as the http://www.123ppt.com/free/powerpoint-video-backgrounds/social-community-ppt-licensed-video-background.asp - Social Community Video Background . It might be that instead of the soundtrack embedded onto the video file you want to use a more ambient music track such as http://www.123ppt.com/presentation-music/176.htm - Ambient Sounds 5 to match the mood of your presentation.

If the video background had a soundtrack you would not be able to play your music over the soundtrack of your video background. Or worse, you would have your ambient presentation music track playing over the soundtrack creating a confusion of noise and sound.

For these reasons, you can only import the soundtrack of YouTube files when importing video backgrounds Martine, as without sound they are idela for use as video backgrounds and with sound ideal for full screen movies to play in your presentations to illustrate key points, arguments and content.
