I have completed my slide show presentation. I want it to run automatically, that's okay. Sound is okay. BUT after every slide there is a blank white screen and I cannot figure how to get rid of it. Can someone please help. Thanks

Hmmm....something fishy going on there Jane.

You sure you're powerpoint template is set up correctly?

Yep....ths does sound a bit strange Jane. PowerPoint normally does not insert a blank slide inbetween slides.

How is your presentation content? What are you running? Images? Text? Video? Let us know some more so we can help you figure it out.

It's mainly just a photo slide show. I've added music and the all settings are set to automatic so I was expecting it to just play but instead in between each slide there is a blank white slide that I have not inserted and they are not there in Normal View but when I play my slide show they suddenly appear in between each slide. Thanks.

It will be your display drivers Jane.

If you are running a PowerPoint presentation that is very graphics intensive, for example consisting almost entirely of images and sound is also added, then your processor is working a little harder than it might like.

It's most likely a question of hardware acceleration in combination with large images being displayed on your machine and PowerPoint unable to display them on a slide and an additional slide appears to be inserted when in fact it is most likely a lag and delay between the slide your machines display and the next slide.

Check your display drivers and download and install the latest version. Also check hardware acceleration settings if your system will allow it.

If you right-click your desktop Jane and select Properties. On the Display dialog window that opens you should be able to see your Display Adapter Properties under Settings.
