Topic: Want to play my own video on one slide and 123PPT Posted: 01 Oct 2012 at 15:53 |
Here is my situation:
I am creating a PPT and I have inserted my own video on the 2nd slide. It is a 33 sec video. I want to play 123PPT background video on all other slides. I follow the prompts and chose all slides but the ony my own vide plays on and I have problems. 1. My video no longer plays. The video just freezes before it begins and never plays. It plays well without 123PPT background video. 2. The transition from the 2nd slide with my video freezes the entire presentation. For some reason 123PPT will not continue to presentation after my video tries to fade out. Yes, I am using the trial version because I want to be sure this will work correctly before I purchase it. Thank you, Joshua

Hi Joshua,
welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum. Nice to have you with us. In response to your post Joshua, the main problem is that when you are using the Trial Edition of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio for PowerPoint you cannot insert your own videos for use as video backgrounds using the Trial Edition. Your video cannot play because it has not been imported into the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio. This is why it appears as though your video "freezes" when in fact this is not the case. Your video does not start because it has not been imported into your software because the Free Trial Edition of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio only allows you to use the free bundled videos that are included with the trial package and not your own. If you wish to use your own videos in your presentation with video backgrounds then you must license your copy of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio as our site informs. Hope this helps Joshua and explains why your presentation is not playing your own video when using the Free Trial Edition of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.
