Can you help me determine which video background aspect ratio is best suited to my machine?

I see you offer video backgrounds in both 16/9 and 4/3 aspect ratio but I am not sure which type of video backgrounds I need for my powerpoint presentation?

Thank you

Hey Jerico,
welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

Our motion artists and designers create PowerPoint Video Backgrounds that are compatible with all versions of PowerPoint and with every pc computer.

Because users have very different monitors, screens, laptops and projector resolutions, our motion artists create every video background for PowerPoint in both 16:9 widescreen and 4:3 standard aspect ratios.

Previously 4:3 standard aspect ratios were the preferred choice for computers as graphics card manufacturers provided drivers for Microsoft Windows with resolutions such as 800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200 etc. all of which were more suited to 4:3 standard aspect ratio videos and movies.

But just as movies went from being 4:3  as widescreen televisions became the standard, so too have pc monitors, screens and laptops  as resolutions of 16:9 have now become the standard thanks to HD.

All our video backgrounds will work in your PowerPoint presentations no matter what resolution your screen is in Jerico. The difference is simply that choosing the more suitable aspect ratio minimizes any distortion when scaling.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio for PowerPoint allows you to control your video backgrounds aspect ratio and scale your video backgrounds to completely fill your PowerPoint slides and presentation screen with minimal distortion to ensure that no matter what your screen type and size your presentations will look stunning and your video backgrounds crisp and sharp.
