Hello. I have installed the 123ppt video backgrounds studio trial edition and restarted the computer as I was told to do at the end of the installation.

Now it has restarted, whenever I click on the 123ppt video backgrounds studio a window opens like a browser letting me go through my hard drive but no application launches or starts.

How am I supposed to use the 123ppt video backgrounds studio and add video backgrounds to my slides?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Roger

Hi Roger, welcome to the 123PPT Community and the PowerPoint Forum.

When you install the free 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Trial Edition you also install the free 123PPT Presentations Player.

The 123PPT Presentations Player allows you to browse your hard drive to the location of a presentation which has been created with PowerPoint and video backgrounds and allow you to open it and play it without needing to open and play the presentation inside PowerPoint.

The 123PPT Presentations Player is an ideal way for users who do not have the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio installed, or do not want to install the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio on multiple machines but want to be able to play back PowerPoint presentations with video backgrounds on multiple machines.

From your description Roger, you have doubled clicked on the desktop icon of the 123PPT Presentations Player or opened it from the Windows Start > All Programs > 123PPT > 123PPT Presentations Player menu.

The 123PPT Presentations Player will only alllow you to play back presentations created with PowerPoint and the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio or 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio. It does not allow you to create or edit presentations with video backgrounds. To do this you of course need the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio which you will find and be able to access once you open PowerPoint.

Because the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio is a PowerPoint based application, it is only available to you inside PowerPoint where it creates new functionality that allows you to add, edit and control video backgrounds in your PowerPoint presentations.

Depending upon your version of PowerPoint, the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio will look as illustrated at: http://www.123ppt.com/video-backgrounds-studio/screenshots.asp.

Hope this helps Roger.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to be of assistance and if we don't hear from you hope you make the most of your free trial period and creating PowerPoint presentations with video backgrounds.
