    Posted: 24 Aug 2011 at 15:07
Hello,
my presentation does not seem to be playing. When I launch the presentation the video background is not playing it is just a still image of the video. The first frame I think.

Any ideas as to why is my presentation with video backgrounds not playing?

All help greaty appreciated.

Hard to tell delerium without providing more information.

Got a sneaky feeling that you are probably trying to play your presentation using Slide Show view. Are you pressing the F5 key to start your presentation in PowerPoint or are you launching it directly from the 123PPT Presentations Player?

Hey MKN. Sure I'm starting the presentation using F5. The presentation opens and rus but the video backgrounds are just not playing. They're just still images. What's up?

Video backgrounds will not play running in Slide Show view delerium. PowerPoint does not let you add video backgrounds or play video backgrounds. That is the whole point and reason for needing the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.
If you press F5 and try to play your presentation with video backgrounds in Slide Show view then you get a static image because just as you need the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio to be able to add video backgrounds you also need it to play your presentation with video backgrounds in PowerPoint. If you want to play your presentation with video backgrounds outside of PowerPoint or directly from Windows Explorer then the 123PPT Presentations Player will open and run your presentation with video backgrounds.

If you want to play your presentation with video backgrounds in PowerPoint then you have to use the 123PPT play back options. You can find these in the 123PPT Play & Share section.

Personally, I think the play back options from 123PPT are actually better than PowerPoint's own Slide Show view as the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio lets you play not only from the start but from any slide in any presentation. There's quite a neat little funciton in the 123PPT Play & Share section too that lets you loop your entire presentation so your video backgrounds not only loop but the whole presentation can loop as well.
