Will video backgrounds work with powerpoint templates? I have downloaded some of your free video backgrounds for powerpoint but I cannot seem to be able to get them to play in the background. They are playing in front of my text.

Hi Kelly, welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

A video background for PowerPoint is a video file which should play behind your PowerPoint slide content and texts.

PowerPoint itself does not allow you to insert video backgrounds in PowerPoint or play video backgrounds in PowerPoint which is why we created the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio for PowerPoint creates new tools, features and functions in PowerPoint that allow you to insert, control and play video backgrounds in PowerPoint behind your slide content and texts.

If you do not use the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio to insert video backgrounds in PowerPoint then PowerPoint will instead play your video backgrounds as it would any other video file, in front of your slide content.

In order to insert video backgrounds in PowerPoint you must use the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.

Oh...ok. I see. Sorry for not reading more on your site.

Just one more question. Does the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio work with powerpoint templates? If I use the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio to insert video backgrounds in powerpoint will it insert them into my powerpoint templates or does your program not work with powerpoint template designs?

No problem Kelly.

PowerPoint is built around PowerPoint Templates.

Everytime you open PowerPoint, even if you select a new blank presentation with a new blank slide, this is still a PowerPoint Template. This is because every PowerPoint Template, even blank ones, are graphic shells which contain information about backgrounds, colors, fonts, font sizes, etc.

When you use the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio to insert a video background in PowerPoint, it inserts a video background into your open presentation which is built upon a PowerPoint Template Design.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio does not disturb or change the PowerPoint Template itself, infact you will see the background of the slide you insert a video background upon displays a still from the video when working with your presentation in Normal View. The rest of the PowerPoint Template and its settings remain the same.

Thank you for your explanation and patience admin. Using video backgrounds is very new and exciting to me and of course I am eager to see how video backgrounds will improve my powerpoint presentations.

You are most welcome Kelly. I am sure you will be quite impressed when you begin to use video backgrounds in your presentations and start to see the impact and reaction from audiences.

Let us know if you have any questions.
