Topic: Images disappear from my presentation Posted: 07 Jun 2011 at 12:07 |
PowerPointers!!! I know it is old but I use PowerPoint 2002, and have been working on a presentation for Friday. I transferred the presentation onto my laptop portable to test the slide show and suddenly all the images from my presentation have been replaced by a white box with a red x in the top right corner. Can anyone help me please?

Hey Kat, welcome to the PowerPoint Forum.
it seems as though you have not embedded your images in your powerpoint presentation but instead only linked to them.
When you insert images into your presentation Kat, you have the option to insert images or link to them. Linking to images makes your presentation (.ppt file) smaller, as it does not contain the images, but then you must also copy the images that you have used in your presentation over to your laptop portable computer as your presentation file cannot find the link to them. This is of course because the images are on your other computer. The computer you used to author your presentation. |
