I have an illustration that is on a colored background but i really want it to be transparent so that I can use it in PowerPoint and have it on my slides without it appearing as a box.

Is there anyway I can make an image transparent in PowerPoint?

Thank you for any help.

Carlo

Hi Carlo,
welcome to the 123PPT Community and the PowerPoint Forum!

If your illustration is on a solid colored background then you can make it transparent by making the background color of the image transparent.

Scott Harvey, has created an excellent tutorial which is available in one of our earlier newsletters and outlines How to create transparent graphics in PowerPoint?

Well worth a look and an excellent in-depth PowerPoint tutorial.
