I downloaded the trial version and noticed very quickly that PPT animations such as Faded Zoom. and transitions such as Fly Through, do not display correctly when used over a 123 Video background. Are there limitations as to which transitions and animations I can use with PPT123? Or am I simply doing something wrong?

Hey jimyokajty,

welcome to the PowerPoint Forum.

The answer actually lies in your question ;)

PPT animations such as Faded Zoom. and transitions such as Fly Through, do not display correctly when used over a 123 Video background

As you say jimyokajty, these are PPT animations which are built into PowerPoint and designed to be used on static slides.

PowerPoint Slide Transitions are created to add more "dynamism" to static presentations by creating image calculations between image 1 and image 2 (i.e. slide 1 and slide 2).

What they cannot do is create real-time transitions to video.

When creating a presentation using video backgrounds this differs from making "static presentations" as instead of a series of slides, you create a seamless "movie" as one slide moves to another so there's no need to use transitions to try to "break" up the boredom of static slides as there are no static slides with video backgrounds.

The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio creates seamless movement from slide to slide so that video backgrounds do not reset or restart but play smoothly and seamlessly throughout the presentation to allow you to create a more professional and impressive interactive film rather than series of static slides with PowerPoint animations.
