Why do I need to license my product?
|
|
|
When you license your Free Trial Edition of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In, you will be able to create and view full screen full motion video PowerPoint presentations without video background watermarking.
During your free trial period, and until your copy of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In is licensed, all presentations that you create will show "123PPT Video Backrounds Player Trial Version" as a watermarked text upon your presentation video backgrounds during play back.

What happens if I forget to register a license of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In before the trial period is over?
|
|
|
Nothing. It's not a problem. When your trial period has ended The 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In will automatically ask you to enter your product activation code whenever you start PowerPoint. If you don't have it then The 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In will simply not be available to you in PowerPoint and you will no longer be able to create full screen full motion video PowerPoint presentations.
You can activate your product at any time, and once activated you will once again enable all the functionality of your licensed edition. |

What license options are available?

There are currently 3 Editions of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In with multiple licensing options available.
The Standard Edition allows you to alter, adjust, and change the color of your presentation video background. Use backdrop functionality to edit video transparency to gain optimal legibility for your slide content. Speed video play back up from Normal (25 frames per second) up to 3 X Normal Speed. Or slow video play back speed down from Normal (25 frames per second) to two thirds speed, one third speed, or to static "still" frames.
The Standard Edition also allows you to Pack your Presentation for convenient distribution for friends and colleagues, across email, networks, vpn's, as well as portable storage devices such as flash memory cards and usb memory sticks.
The fully integrated 123PPT Video Management System, allows you to Download More Videos, as well as add, remove, and organize your presentation videos.
The Deluxe Edition offers all the features and functionality of the Standard Edition but with the added benefit of being able to import and convert your own video files for use as video backgrounds, as well as allow you to play all audio, sound, and music that your video files contain.
The Upgrade Edition allows you to upgrade your Standard Edition to Deluxe Edition and enable all extended Deluxe Edition functionality.

If I opt for the Standard Edition License initally can I upgrade later to the Deluxe Edition?

Yes of course. One of the real benefits of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In is that all functionality is built into the Trial Edition of the application. It is your product edition license which releases and extends your products functionality.
Unlike other software where you have to download large upgrade files to overwrite your existing installation. With The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In you simply activate your product and if at a later time you decide that you want to upgrade your edition to the full Deluxe Edition then you simply purchase the upgrade license.
When you enter your new Deluxe Edition activation code your Standard Edition will automatically upgrade itself to Deluxe and all extended Deluxe Edition functionality will be instantly available to you. You don't even have to reboot! That's right. No system restarts or closing and reopening of PowerPoint. Simply enter your new upgrade activation code and your Standard Edition is automatically upgraded to Deluxe. |

Is my product license transferable?
|
|
|
| No. Obviously one of the many problems with protecting software and software development is licensing. Your software is licensed to the machine it is installed upon. Should you decide to purchase a new machine, or wish to install your software on another machine your product license is non transferable which means that you will need to purchase another license in order to use a licensed version of The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Player and 123PPT PowerPoint Add-In on another computer. |
