PowerPoint Video Backgrounds

Hello everyone, I am new to PowerPoint and using video backgrounds in PowerPoint so I am hoping I can get some quick feedback and help  
Do I need the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio to be able to play video backgrounds in presentations?

What happens on other computers that do not have the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio installed? How can they play presentations with video backgrounds?

I do not mind buying a license for the software but only if it is necessary? Is there no other way to play video backgrounds in PowerPoint?
