Hei!

Can you tell me how it is possible to customize toolbars in powerpoint?

I know it can be done...I just don't know how.

Hi slideshow gutten,

welcome to the 123PPT Community and PowerPoint Forum.

PowerPoint gives you the option of creating customized toolbars so you can create a quick tool collection of the features you use the most...cool 'eh?

A customized toolbar is precisely what you need when you are working on a large presentation with many similar tasks.

To create a customized toolbar in PowerPoint:

  • Open PowerPoint.
  • Click Tools > Customize. Then select the Toolbars tab. C
  • Click New.
  • In the Toolbar name box, enter a name and click OK.
  • Select the Commands tab.
  • To add a button to the toolbar, click a category in the Categories box. Then drag the command you would like on your custom toolbar from the Commands box to the displayed toolbar.
  • If you want to add a built-in menu to the toolbar, click Built-in Menus in the Categories box. Then drag the menu you want from the Commands box to the displayed toolbar.
  • When you have added all the buttons and menus you want, click Close.

Then you have your custom toolbar for your presentation slideshow gutten.
