I am resizing some of my graphics in my powerpoint presentation, but some of the graphics seem to have jagged and uneven rough edges around them. Can you help me correct this? I need my presentation slides to look perfect and now they look as though the images are clipart.

It may well be that the images in your presentation are in GIF format ppted.

GIF's are indexed graphic files, or rather 8 bit graphic files that contain up to but no more than 256 colours.

When resizing an indexed graphic file, in PowerPoint, as with any application, such as Photoshop, or any other graphics application, the images themselves do not re anti alias.

Anti-aliasing is the technique of minimizing the distortion artifacts known as aliasing when a high-resolution images is resized at a lower resolution. As such ppted, the edges of the images themselves then become jagged and "rough" and so tend to look more like low quality clipart.

If you're images are in 8 bit format ppted, then you must convert them to high resolution such as 16 bit which will enable you to rescale the images and keep them smooth.
