Hello,
I would like to know when your new Video Background Player will be available for sale. I teach PowerPoint at my school and create Presentations for various events, such a tool at the price listed in one of the articles on your web site would be great. Please let me know as soon as it is available for purchase.

Hi Ken,
We have experienced a number of technical difficulties in stablising the player's speed.
One of our requirements was to create a player that plays full screen 25 frames per second video. Unlike the other player that is available on the market, we did not want our player to only be able to play in reality 12 frames per second and create very jerky animation.
In order to achieve this our developers and technical staff have choosen a different and more optimal route to provide full screen 25 frames per second full flowing television style animation that also anti aliases all text and type on each slide.
Again this was one of our requirements as the other player that is provided by another market player is not able to anti alias text so in effect their player provides you not only with jerky 12 frame animation but also with rough and jaggged text outline edges.
We decided that this was definetly not the way to go. We want to provide not only a high quality, more stable player, but alos one for a greatly reduced price. From the great number of mails and requests we receive, we understood from frustrated users of the supposedly "television full screen" player, that not only did it manage to crash PowerPoint frequently, but that all text bullet points appear rough, jagged, and unpresentable to an audience expecting professional quality.
It was these requests, these mails, and these frustrations, that led us to undertake and commission the development of the 123PPT Animated Video Player in order to provide full screen and realistic televsion style presentations without compromising quality of text.
Our demands have been high Ken, and as such, development time has taken longer than expected.
I understand that our player will be in beta release early Sping 2008, where we will be testing the player on a number of platforms, operating systems, and versions of PowerPoint. Again, our demands are simple. It should work for everyone with a Windows PC running Microsoft PowerPoint. And once again these demands have created additional requirements in development which has meant release delays.
I can certainly add your name to our Beta testing group Ken with oyur permission so that you can be among the first users to install, test, and try our beta release and if you would like me to do so then please let me know and I will add your contact details to our beta group.

Hi Admin,
I understand your position completely. It is better to release a product that you can be proud of. Please add me to the list of beta testers. We can test it in the classroom, as well as other venues. I've tested for Microsoft and AOL in the past and can provide any needed bug reports. Thanks for the offer. I look forward to hearing from you in the spring.
Best Regards,

I manage presentations for bank in Canada and would love to be part of your beta test group. I have been using my own method of running video behind Powerpoint text but I would be very anxious to upgrade to your excellent player idea, I'll be pleased to pay to participate, and I'm sure I can provide some valuable user feedback.
