Hi,

I'm having problems with Office Cry

I have been making a document in Word and I need to bring a table i've created in Word together with all its formatting and text bullet points into PowerPoint.

Is there anyway I can do this without having to redo the whole table all over again in PowerPoint?

Thank you,

officeslave

Hi officeslave,

if you've already created a table in Word, you can insert it in PowerPoint without having to redo any work. Smile

If you've also been using some of Microsoft Words advanced table formatting options, for example numbered lists, bulleted text, diagonal formats, etc., then don't worry. You can still import this table into PowerPoint and use it without having to reformat the text or properties of the table!

To import your table into PowerPoint officeslave:
  • Open your Word document and select your table.
  • Select Copy from the Edit main menu.
  • now open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the slide that you wish to import your Word table upon.
  • Select Insert from the main menu and then Picture from the sub menu, followed by Microsoft Word Table from the submenu options.
  • The Insert Table dialog box opens.
  • Simply enter the number of rows and columns in your Word table, and then right click to paste your Word table into it.
And that's it officeslave Big smile

Thank you Admin,

wow that was fast!!!

I'll definitely be coming by the presenters forum in the future. 123PPT.com is a great site. I have to say that the quality of the PowerPoint templates, and backgrounds, are by far the best I have seen online.

Thank you again.
